We are very proud of our rich and carefully selected breakfast!
We are supplied with exceptional ingredients – mostly from local producers – and local delicacies.
We also make most food ourselves: home-made marmalades, freshly squeezed juices, freshly made bread baked in the hotel’s wood oven. We can, of course, adapt the breakfast menu to any intolerances, allergies, or special dietary requirements.
Breakfast is served normally between 08.15 and 11.30 in the Emily’s garden. However, if you would like breakfast in your room, if you would like it earlier than the standard times, or if you would like it packed to take with you, it will be our pleasure. You just have to let us know the previous day.
If you would like to enrich your experience of Syros beyond your stay at the Emily, we can recommend tours and to match your interests. We trust our external partners to provide a special price, just for guests of the Emily: a walking city tour of Ermoupoli or a walking tour combined with a narration of the myths of the island; short or long hiking routes; bike rides; trips to the northern beaches by boat; dives to see the depths of the island, etc.
Small-scale events, protective of the environment and the cultural character of the island will raise your spirits in the Emily’s garden. Evenings of traditional rembetic music, fairy tales for children and adults, creative play for children, and book presentations are some of the activities that we organise from time to time in the garden, and you are invited. They are free of charge, unless you want to accompany your audio-visual entertainment with a drink at the cafe-bar.
The Emily’s garden is a cosy space, perfect for celebrating your wedding, the christening of your child, or an anniversary. Among the advantages are the option of a buffet created by our specialist partners, alternative suggestions for music groups, reasonable prices, and mainly, the free use of the small chapel of Agios Alexandros, which is located near to the hotel and belongs to the Bolias family, having been built in memory of grandfather Alexandros.
